Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles to transport goods and materials within designated routes
- Conduct pre-trip inspections to ensure vehicle compliance with safety regulations
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation as per DOT standards
- Collaborate with dispatch team to optimize delivery schedules and routes
- Load/unload cargo with proper handling techniques to prevent damage
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company safety protocols at all times
- Communicate effectively with customers and team members regarding delivery status
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
- Clean driving record with no major violations in the past 3 years
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Basic knowledge of transportation regulations and safety procedures
- Strong time management and organizational skills
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in various weather conditions
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Must be at least 21 years of age
