Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles over 26,000 lbs GVWR
- Transport freight to designated locations on strict timelines
- Perform pre/post-trip inspections and basic maintenance checks
- Maintain accurate electronic logs (ELD) and delivery documentation
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations and safety protocols
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and clients
- Secure cargo using proper tie-down techniques
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or Class B Commercial Learner's Permit (CLP)
- Minimum 21 years of age
- Clean driving record (no DUIs in past 10 years)
- Pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Ability to obtain CDL within 60 days of hire
- Basic computer literacy for ELD systems
- Strong work ethic and reliability
- Willingness to work flexible schedules
