Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles on assigned routes
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections
- Load/unload cargo with proper securing techniques
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and paperwork
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations and safety protocols
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and clients
- Assist in training new drivers as you advance
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) or willingness to obtain
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Clean driving record with no major violations
- Basic math and communication skills
- Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Flexibility for early mornings and weekends
