Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial trucks to transport goods across Texas and regional routes
- Perform pre/post-trip inspections and maintain accurate vehicle maintenance logs
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations, hours-of-service, and safety protocols
- Coordinate with dispatch teams for timely deliveries and route adjustments
- Secure cargo properly and assist with loading/unloading as needed
- Document delivery details and handle customer communications professionally
- Participate in ongoing safety training and equipment certification programs
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL Class A/B) required
- Minimum 1 year driving experience or willingness to complete company training
- Clean MVR with no major violations (DUI, reckless driving) within 3 years
- Ability to pass DOT physical and mandatory drug screening
- Basic GPS navigation skills and familiarity with commercial truck routes
- Physical ability to lift 50+ pounds and work in varying weather conditions
- Strong time management and problem-solving skills for independent work
