Responsibilities
- Operate commercial trucks (Class A CDL) safely and efficiently within the San Francisco Bay Area.
- Load and unload cargo using forklifts and pallet jacks in a timely manner.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure compliance with safety regulations.
- Maintain accurate electronic logging device (ELD) records and logs.
- Secure cargo properly to prevent damage during transit.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and warehouse staff regarding delivery schedules and issues.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A (or willingness to obtain with our paid training program).
- Must possess a clean driving record with no DUIs or serious moving violations within the last 3 years.
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical examination.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.
- Flexibility to work varying shifts, including nights and weekends as required by the route.
