Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial trucks and delivery vehicles in accordance with all federal, state, and local regulations.
- Load and unload cargo securely, ensuring weight distribution is accurate and safe.
- Complete all necessary pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections (DVIR) accurately and on time.
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and paperwork in compliance with DOT regulations.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers to ensure timely delivery and customer satisfaction.
- Maintain a clean driving record and uphold the company's high standards of safety and professionalism.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) is required.
- Must have a clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) with no major violations.
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical examination.
- Ability to pass a drug screen and criminal background check.
- Basic mechanical knowledge is a plus but not required.
- Strong work ethic, time management skills, and a commitment to safety.
