Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial trucks (Class A) in accordance with FMCSA regulations and company policies.
- Load and unload cargo using proper lifting techniques and equipment.
- Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections (DVIR).
- Maintain accurate logs and documentation, including HOS compliance.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery status.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and safety protocols to ensure a clean driving record.
- Uphold company standards for cleanliness and vehicle maintenance.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A required (or eligible for paid training).
- Must be 21 years of age or older.
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical exam and drug screen.
- Strong English communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Basic mechanical aptitude for vehicle troubleshooting.
