Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial trucks following DOT regulations and company policies
- Load/unload freight with proper handling techniques
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and paperwork
- Perform pre/post-trip vehicle inspections
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and clients
- Adapt to varying weather and road conditions
- Uphold strict safety standards at all times
Qualifications
- No prior trucking experience required
- Valid Class A or Class B learner's permit (or willingness to obtain)
- Pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Basic math and navigation skills
- Ability to work independently and follow instructions
- Must be 21+ years old
- Clean driving record (no DUIs in past 5 years)
- Willingness to complete paid training program
