Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial trucks to transport freight within San Diego County and surrounding regions
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure compliance with safety regulations
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation using our digital fleet management system
- Collaborate with dispatch team to optimize delivery routes and timelines
- Adhere strictly to FMCSA regulations and company safety protocols
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery and pickup interactions
- Participate in ongoing driver training programs to enhance skills
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
- Minimum 1 year of commercial driving experience or recent CDL graduate
- Clean driving record with no major violations in the past 3 years
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Basic familiarity with GPS navigation systems
- Strong time management and organizational skills
- Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally
- Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
