Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial trucks to transport goods across Ohio and neighboring states
- Pre-trip inspections and basic vehicle maintenance checks
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation
- Adhere to DOT regulations and safety protocols at all times
- Provide excellent customer service during delivery and pickup interactions
- Collaborate with dispatch team for efficient route planning
- Handle freight loading/unloading with proper equipment techniques
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
- Clean driving record with no major violations in past 3 years
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Basic understanding of DOT regulations and safety procedures
- Strong work ethic and punctuality
- Ability to work independently and follow detailed instructions
- Physical ability to climb, bend, and lift up to 50 lbs occasionally
- Willingness to obtain hazmat endorsement (company-sponsored training available)
