Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial trucks to transport goods across regional routes
- Conduct pre-trip inspections and maintain accurate vehicle maintenance logs
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations and Philadelphia traffic laws
- Load/unload cargo with proper handling techniques
- Communicate with dispatch and clients regarding delivery status
- Complete delivery documentation and billing paperwork
- Participate in ongoing safety training programs
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or B Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
- Clean driving record with no major violations in past 3 years
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Basic knowledge of truck maintenance and safety protocols
- Strong communication and time management skills
- Flexibility to work early mornings, weekends, and holidays
- High school diploma or equivalent required
