Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial trucks for local and regional routes
- Inspect vehicles before and after trips to ensure safety compliance
- Load/unload cargo with proper handling techniques
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation
- Adhere to DOT regulations and safety protocols
- Communicate with dispatch team regarding delivery status
- Perform minor vehicle maintenance and troubleshooting
Qualifications
- Valid commercial driver's permit (CDL permit)
- Ability to obtain CDL-A license within 90 days
- Clean driving record (no major violations in past 3 years)
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Basic mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
- Strong time management and organizational abilities
- Flexibility to work weekends and early mornings
- High school diploma or equivalent required
