Responsibilities
- Operate commercial trucks safely and efficiently within Jacksonville and surrounding areas
- Complete thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations and company safety protocols
- Load/unload cargo with proper handling techniques
- Maintain accurate delivery records and documentation
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and clients
- Participate in ongoing safety training programs
Qualifications
- No experience required - training provided
- Valid Florida driver's license (Class C or above)
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Willingness to obtain CDL-A license through company training
- Basic math skills for weight calculations and logbooks
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally
- Clean driving record (no major violations in past 3 years)
- Reliable transportation to training facilities
