Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles to transport goods
- Perform pre-trip inspections and vehicle maintenance checks
- Follow DOT regulations and maintain accurate trip logs
- Load/unload cargo with proper handling techniques
- Communicate with dispatch and clients regarding delivery status
- Adapt to varying routes and weather conditions
- Complete all required paperwork and documentation
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or Class B CDL permit (or willingness to obtain)
- Minimum 21 years of age
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Ability to sit for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs
- Basic navigation skills and smartphone proficiency
- Strong work ethic and punctuality
- Willingness to work irregular hours and overnight trips
- No prior CDL required - we train new drivers!
