Responsibilities
- Safely operate delivery trucks within San Jose Bay Area
- Load/unload cargo with proper handling techniques
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation
- Perform pre/post-trip vehicle inspections
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations and safety protocols
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and clients
- Assist in route optimization for timely deliveries
Qualifications
- Valid California driver's license required
- Clean driving record (no DUIs in past 3 years)
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly
- Basic navigation skills (GPS proficiency preferred)
- Flexibility for early morning/late night shifts
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Willingness to obtain CDL-A/B within 6 months
- High school diploma or equivalent
