Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles to transport freight between Louisville distribution centers and regional destinations
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure compliance with safety standards
- Maintain accurate delivery documentation and logs using electronic tracking systems
- Collaborate with warehouse staff for efficient loading/unloading of cargo
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations and company safety protocols
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and clients regarding delivery status
- Support continuous improvement initiatives in logistics operations
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) or willingness to obtain through company-sponsored training
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
- Clean driving record with no major violations in past 3 years
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Basic familiarity with smartphone navigation apps
- Strong work ethic and punctuality
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally
- Willingness to work flexible hours including early mornings and weekends
