Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles to transport freight between Albuquerque and regional destinations
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure compliance with safety standards
- Load/unload cargo using proper equipment and techniques
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation
- Adapt routes based on traffic conditions and delivery schedules
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and clients regarding shipment status
- Represent the company professionally while interacting with clients at delivery sites
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) or willingness to obtain one through our training program
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Basic math and communication skills
- Willingness to work flexible hours including early mornings and weekends
- Clean driving record (non-CDL license acceptable for training)
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly
- No prior experience required - we provide paid CDL training!
