Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial freight vehicles to transport goods across Alaska
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation
- Collaborate with dispatch team for efficient route planning
- Ensure compliance with DOT regulations and safety protocols
- Load/unload freight with proper equipment handling
- Provide exceptional customer service at delivery points
- Participate in ongoing safety and operational training
Qualifications
- Valid Alaska Driver's License (Class A or B preferred but not required)
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Strong commitment to safety and reliability
- Basic math and communication skills
- Flexibility for varied schedules and weather conditions
- Willingness to complete CDL training program
- No commercial driving experience necessary
- Must be 21+ years of age
