Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles to transport freight across designated routes
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety compliance
- Maintain accurate delivery documentation and electronic logging records
- Adhere to DOT regulations and company safety policies at all times
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and clients regarding delivery status
- Secure and unload cargo using proper loading techniques and equipment
- Participate in ongoing safety training and performance reviews
Qualifications
- Valid driver's license with clean driving record (3+ years)
- Ability to obtain CDL-A license (company-sponsored training provided)
- Pass DOT physical and drug screening requirements
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety
- Basic math skills for weight distribution and documentation
- Willingness to work flexible schedules including early mornings and weekends
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and operate loading equipment
- No commercial driving experience required – we train from the ground up!
