Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles on dedicated routes throughout California and the Southwest
- Adhere to strict delivery schedules and maintain accurate electronic logs (ELD)
- Inspect vehicles pre/post-trip and report maintenance needs promptly
- Coordinate with dispatch teams for real-time route adjustments and customer communications
- Ensure compliance with FMCSA regulations and company safety protocols
- Manage cargo loading/unloading with proper securing techniques
- Submit timely paperwork including delivery confirmations and expense reports
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with clean driving record (no major violations in past 3 years)
- Minimum 2 years verifiable OTR driving experience
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and operate loading equipment
- Strong knowledge of DOT regulations and safety procedures
- Excellent time management and route optimization skills
- Proficient with ELD systems and basic GPS navigation
- Ability to pass pre-employment drug screening and background check
- Strong communication skills and customer service orientation
