Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles to transport freight across designated routes
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety compliance
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation
- Coordinate with dispatch team for efficient route planning and delivery timing
- Ensure proper loading/unloading of cargo with team members
- Adhere to all DOT regulations and company safety protocols
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or Class B CDL permit (training provided if needed)
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED accepted)
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Basic math skills for weight calculations and documentation
- Strong commitment to safety and reliability
- Willingness to work flexible hours including weekends
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally
- Clean driving record (minor infractions negotiable)
