Responsibilities
- Safely operate dump trucks to transport construction materials, debris, and landscaping supplies
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure roadworthiness
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation as per DOT regulations
- Collaborate with site supervisors to coordinate loading/unloading procedures
- Adhere strictly to safety protocols and traffic laws at all times
- Basic vehicle maintenance and troubleshooting in field conditions
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and team members
Qualifications
- Valid California Class A or Class B driver's license (CDL-A preferred)
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Willingness to obtain CDL-A with company-sponsored training
- Basic mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
- Strong work ethic and commitment to safety
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in various weather conditions
- Must be at least 21 years old with clean driving record
- No prior commercial experience required – training provided!
