Responsibilities
- Safely operate dump trucks to transport construction materials, soil, or debris to job sites
- Pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety compliance
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and paperwork for all hauls
- Collaborate with site supervisors to coordinate loading/unloading schedules
- Adhere to all DOT regulations and company safety protocols
- Basic vehicle maintenance and troubleshooting as needed
Qualifications
- Valid California driver's license (Class C minimum)
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Willingness to complete paid CDL training program
- Basic mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
- Strong work ethic and punctuality
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally
- Reliable transportation to worksites throughout Kern County
