Responsibilities
- Safely operate dump trucks and construction equipment on job sites and public roads
- Load and unload materials including gravel, sand, asphalt, and demolition debris
- Perform daily vehicle inspections and basic maintenance checks
- Follow strict safety protocols and DOT regulations at all times
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and paperwork
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and site supervisors
- Adapt to changing job site conditions and schedules
Qualifications
- Valid driver's license with clean driving record
- No commercial experience required - we train new hires!
- Ability to obtain CDL Class A license (training provided)
- Pass pre-employment background check and drug screening
- Basic mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety
- Ability to work in various weather conditions
- Physical capability to climb in/out of equipment and handle materials
