Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial delivery vehicles in the Wichita metropolitan area.
- Load and unload packages and cargo with care, ensuring items arrive undamaged.
- Verify delivery addresses and obtain digital signatures or proof of delivery.
- Adhere strictly to all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies.
- Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and report any maintenance issues.
- Provide excellent customer service to clients during every interaction.
- Maintain a clean and organized cab and delivery van.
Qualifications
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Valid Class C Commercial Driver's License (CDL) is preferred but not required for entry-level local routes.
- Clean driving record with no major violations in the past 3 years.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly throughout the shift.
- Strong time management skills and the ability to work independently.
- Must pass a background check and a pre-employment drug screen.
- Basic smartphone proficiency for using delivery apps and GPS navigation.
