Responsibilities
- Deliver packages and documents to residential and commercial addresses in a safe, timely, and efficient manner.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company safety policies while operating a company vehicle.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure the vehicle is in good working order.
- Practice excellent customer service by maintaining a professional demeanor and communicating clearly with customers.
- Load and unload cargo carefully to ensure product integrity and prevent damage.
- Handle cash or electronic payments accurately and resolve minor customer inquiries on the spot.
- Keep the delivery vehicle clean, organized, and fueled throughout your shift.
Qualifications
- A valid driver's license (Class C) with a clean driving record (no major moving violations within the last 3 years).
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Ability to lift, carry, and push packages weighing up to 50-70 lbs repeatedly throughout the shift.
- Basic smartphone proficiency for navigation and logging hours.
- A strong sense of punctuality and time management skills.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent is preferred.
