Responsibilities
- Route Navigation: Efficiently plan and execute delivery routes to ensure packages arrive on time and in perfect condition.
- Customer Service: Interact professionally with customers, accepting packages with a smile and ensuring a positive unboxing experience.
- Vehicle Maintenance: Conduct daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and cleanliness.
- Documentation: Accurately complete delivery receipts and manage all necessary paperwork and digital logs.
- Package Handling: Safely load, unload, and handle packages of varying sizes and weights with care.
- Communication: Maintain clear communication with dispatch and customers regarding delivery updates and delays.
Qualifications
- License & Record: Valid Class C Driver's License with a clean driving record (no more than 2 moving violations in the last 3 years).
- Experience: No previous professional driving experience required; we provide on-the-job training.
- Equipment: Reliable personal vehicle (sedan, SUV, or van) and a smartphone capable of using our navigation app.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift and carry packages weighing up to 50 lbs repeatedly throughout the shift; ability to stand, walk, and bend for extended periods.
- Soft Skills: Strong time management skills, ability to work independently, and a friendly, customer-oriented attitude.
- Background: Must pass a background check and drug screening.
