Responsibilities
- Safely and efficiently transport packages to residential and commercial addresses throughout the NYC metro area.
- Adhere strictly to all traffic laws and company safety protocols.
- Interact professionally with customers to ensure satisfaction and handle routine inquiries.
- Perform daily vehicle inspections, cleaning, and basic maintenance checks.
- Utilize handheld devices to update delivery status and route information accurately.
- Unload and organize packages at delivery points with care.
- Report any vehicle issues or delivery exceptions immediately.
Qualifications
- Valid New York State Class C Driver's License with a clean driving record (no more than 2 moving violations in the last 3 years).
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly and professional demeanor.
- Ability to lift, carry, and maneuver packages weighing up to 50 lbs repeatedly.
- Proficiency with smartphone applications and GPS navigation systems.
- Reliable access to a vehicle (if using your own) or willingness to use company fleet.
