Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles to transport freight across Alaska's highway system
- Adhere to strict DOT regulations and company safety protocols
- Perform pre-trip inspections and basic vehicle maintenance
- Coordinate with dispatch for efficient route planning and delivery scheduling
- Maintain accurate logs and delivery documentation
- Provide exceptional customer service at delivery points
- Uphold company standards for professionalism and punctuality
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
- Minimum 2 years verifiable OTR driving experience
- Clean MVR with no major violations in past 3 years
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Familiarity with Alaska road conditions and winter driving
- Basic knowledge of trip planning and electronic logging
- Strong communication and time-management skills
- Ability to work independently while maintaining team collaboration
