As a Delivery Driver with NYC Express Logistics, you will be the face of our brand, ensuring our customers receive their packages safely and on time. Whether you're navigating the busy streets of Manhattan or the quiet suburbs, your reliability will be the key to our success.
Responsibilities
- Safe & Efficient Delivery: Transport packages to residential and commercial addresses accurately and in a timely manner.
- Customer Interaction: Provide exceptional service by greeting customers politely and handling packages with care.
- Route Management: Plan the most efficient routes using our GPS navigation tools to minimize delays.
- Vehicle Maintenance: Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure the vehicle is in top condition.
- Documentation: Accurately complete delivery logs and handle proof of delivery paperwork.
- Communication: Keep dispatch updated on your status and communicate any delivery issues immediately.
Qualifications
- Eligibility: Must be at least 18 years of age.
- License: Valid Driver’s License and a clean driving record.
- Vehicle: Reliable personal vehicle (or access to a rental) suitable for commercial delivery.
- Smartphone: A smartphone with data access is required for navigation and communication.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand/walk for extended periods.
- Communication: Strong verbal communication skills and a friendly demeanor.
