Responsibilities
- Safely and efficiently deliver packages, food, and goods to customers within designated New Orleans neighborhoods
- Maintain accurate delivery records using our mobile tracking system and obtain customer signatures
- Perform pre-trip vehicle inspections and report maintenance needs promptly
- Provide exceptional customer service with friendly, professional interactions
- Optimize delivery routes to ensure timely arrivals and fuel efficiency
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company safety protocols at all times
- Communicate effectively with dispatch team regarding delivery status and challenges
- Assist with basic warehouse duties when not on delivery routes
Qualifications
- Valid Louisiana driver's license with clean driving record (no major violations in past 3 years)
- Must be at least 21 years old with reliable transportation to/from workplace
- Ability to lift and carry packages up to 50 lbs regularly
- Strong navigation skills and familiarity with New Orleans streets
- Basic smartphone proficiency for using delivery apps
- Positive attitude and commitment to customer satisfaction
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
- Pass background check and drug screening (company policy)
