Responsibilities
- Safely operate delivery vehicles to transport packages and goods throughout Minneapolis metro area
- Plan efficient routes using GPS technology to ensure timely deliveries and optimal fuel usage
- Maintain accurate delivery records and obtain customer signatures for all shipments
- Inspect vehicles before/after shifts to ensure safe operating conditions
- Communicate professionally with customers regarding delivery status and special requests
- Collaborate with dispatch team to resolve delivery issues and adjust routes as needed
- Adhere strictly to traffic laws and company safety protocols at all times
Qualifications
- Valid Minnesota driver's license with clean driving record (no major violations in past 3 years)
- Ability to lift packages up to 50 pounds regularly
- Strong time management skills and punctuality
- Basic proficiency with smartphone apps for navigation and communication
- Excellent customer service and communication abilities
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED accepted)
- Ability to work independently while following team protocols
- Reliable transportation to/from shift start points
