Responsibilities
- Operate delivery vehicles safely and efficiently to ensure timely and accurate delivery of packages.
- Load and unload merchandise, ensuring packages are secure and handled with care.
- Interact professionally and courteously with customers, receiving signatures and payment when required.
- Navigate complex routes using GPS and delivery software to minimize delays.
- Perform basic vehicle inspections before and after each shift to ensure safety and compliance.
- Maintain a clean and organized delivery van, including restocking supplies.
- Adhere to all traffic laws, company policies, and safety regulations.
Qualifications
- Valid Class C Driver's License with a clean driving record (no major violations within the last 3 years).
- Ability to lift packages weighing up to 50 pounds repeatedly throughout the shift.
- Basic proficiency with smartphones and navigation apps.
- Reliable transportation to and from the depot.
- Strong customer service skills and the ability to work independently.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent is preferred.
