Responsibilities
- Safely and efficiently deliver packages to residential and commercial locations across Miami-Dade County
- Plan optimized routes using GPS navigation systems to ensure timely deliveries
- Load/unload packages with proper handling techniques to prevent damage
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and obtain customer signatures
- Perform pre-trip vehicle inspections and report maintenance needs
- Communicate professionally with customers regarding delivery status
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company safety protocols
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
- Valid Florida driver's license with clean driving record
- Minimum 1 year of driving experience
- Ability to lift packages up to 50 pounds
- Basic smartphone proficiency for navigation apps
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Flexibility to work early mornings, weekends, and holidays
- Must pass background check and drug screening
