Responsibilities
- Safely operate delivery vehicles to transport packages and goods to designated addresses in Long Beach and surrounding areas.
- Interact professionally and courteously with customers during the delivery process, handling packages with care.
- Load and unload merchandise from delivery vehicles using hand trucks or dollies, ensuring proper handling of items.
- Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the delivery vehicle throughout the shift.
- Complete daily logs and paperwork accurately, including mileage and delivery times.
- Follow all traffic laws and safety regulations to ensure a secure work environment.
Qualifications
- Valid Class C Driver's License and a clean driving record (no DUIs or major violations within the last 3 years).
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Ability to lift and carry packages weighing up to 50-75 lbs repeatedly.
- Strong time management skills and the ability to work independently.
- Basic understanding of map reading and GPS navigation systems.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
