Responsibilities
- Safely and efficiently operate a delivery vehicle to transport packages to residential and commercial locations within the Indianapolis area.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company safety protocols to ensure a secure delivery experience.
- Interact professionally with customers, handling packages with care and maintaining a friendly demeanor.
- Inspect the vehicle for any mechanical issues or damages upon arrival and departure, reporting them immediately.
- Complete necessary paperwork, including delivery logs and vehicle inspections, accurately and on time.
- Manage time effectively to ensure routes are completed within the designated timeframe.
Qualifications
- Valid Class C Driver’s License with a clean driving record.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Ability to lift packages weighing up to 50 lbs repeatedly.
- Proficiency with smartphone technology for navigation and order tracking.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Willingness to undergo a background check and drug screening.
