Responsibilities
- Safely and efficiently deliver packages to residential and commercial locations across NYC boroughs
- Load/unload delivery vehicles with proper handling techniques to prevent damage
- Utilize GPS navigation and route optimization software for timely deliveries
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and report any service issues or delays
- Perform pre/post-trip vehicle inspections and basic maintenance checks
- Collaborate with dispatch team to resolve delivery exceptions
Qualifications
- Valid New York State driver's license with clean driving record (minimum 1 year)
- Ability to lift packages weighing up to 50 pounds repeatedly
- Strong knowledge of NYC boroughs and traffic patterns
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Reliable smartphone with data plan
- Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
- Basic computer literacy for delivery tracking systems
