Responsibilities
- Safely deliver packages and goods to residential and commercial locations across Indianapolis
- Optimize delivery routes for maximum efficiency using GPS navigation systems
- Maintain accurate delivery records and obtain customer signatures when required
- Inspect and maintain vehicle cleanliness, fuel levels, and mechanical performance
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers regarding delivery status and delays
- Handle customer inquiries with professionalism and resolve delivery issues promptly
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company safety protocols at all times
Qualifications
- Valid driver's license with clean driving record (minimum 2 years licensed)
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds repeatedly throughout shift
- Basic smartphone proficiency for navigation and communication apps
- Strong time management skills and punctuality
- Excellent customer service orientation and communication abilities
