Responsibilities
- Safely operate delivery vehicles and transport packages to residential and business addresses
- Maintain accurate delivery records and documentation using Amazon's handheld scanning devices
- Load/unload packages efficiently while adhering to weight and safety guidelines
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions
- Perform daily vehicle inspections and report maintenance needs
- Follow Amazon's safety protocols and delivery procedures
- Collaborate with warehouse staff to optimize delivery routes
Qualifications
- Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) Class A or B required
- Minimum 1 year of commercial driving experience
- Clean driving record with no major violations in past 3 years
- Ability to lift packages up to 50 lbs regularly
- Strong time management and route planning skills
- Basic smartphone proficiency for Amazon delivery app
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Must be at least 21 years old
