Responsibilities
- Safely deliver packages and merchandise to residential and commercial locations
- Perform pre-trip vehicle inspections and basic maintenance checks
- Optimize delivery routes using GPS technology for maximum efficiency
- Obtain customer signatures and handle payment transactions when required
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and report any delivery exceptions
- Assist with loading/unloading operations at distribution centers
- Adhere strictly to traffic laws and company safety protocols
Qualifications
- Valid driver's license with clean driving record (no major violations in past 3 years)
- Ability to lift packages up to 50 pounds repeatedly
- Strong time management and organizational skills
- Basic smartphone proficiency for route navigation apps
- Must be 18+ years old with reliable transportation to work location
- Pass background check and drug screening (company-provided)
