Responsibilities
- Safely deliver packages and food orders to residential and commercial locations across Washington DC
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation using our proprietary tracking system
- Provide exceptional customer service during deliveries and resolve delivery-related inquiries
- Conduct pre-trip vehicle inspections and report maintenance needs promptly
- Adhere strictly to traffic laws, safety protocols, and delivery time windows
- Collaborate with dispatch team to optimize delivery routes and minimize delays
- Assist with loading/unloading operations and inventory management at our DC hub
Qualifications
- Must be 18+ years old with a valid US driver's license
- Clean driving record with no major violations in the past 3 years
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand/walk for extended periods
- Basic smartphone proficiency for navigation and delivery apps
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED accepted)
- Pass background check and drug screening (company-provided)
- Reliable transportation to our DC depot for shift start
- Strong work ethic and punctuality essential
