Responsibilities
- Safely and efficiently deliver packages and goods to residential and commercial locations across Dallas
- Maintain accurate delivery records and obtain customer signatures when required
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure operational safety
- Optimize delivery routes using GPS technology to ensure timely arrivals
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery status
- Assist with loading and unloading of packages using proper lifting techniques
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company safety protocols at all times
Qualifications
- Valid Texas driver's license with a clean driving record (minimum 2 years)
- Ability to operate a delivery vehicle safely and responsibly
- Strong time management skills and punctuality
- Basic smartphone proficiency for navigation and communication
- Physical ability to lift packages up to 50 pounds
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Reliable transportation to and from the distribution center
- Ability to work flexible shifts including early mornings and weekends
