Responsibilities
- Safely and timely deliver packages to residential and commercial addresses in Washington and surrounding areas
- Maintain accurate delivery records and obtain customer signatures when required
- Perform pre-trip vehicle inspections and report maintenance needs promptly
- Optimize delivery routes to ensure efficiency and punctuality
- Provide exceptional customer service during all interactions
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company safety protocols
- Assist with loading/unloading packages at the distribution hub
Qualifications
- Full UK driving license with no more than 3 penalty points
- Basic knowledge of Washington area roads and postcodes
- Ability to lift packages up to 25kg safely
- Strong time management and organizational skills
- Excellent communication and customer service abilities
- Smartphone proficiency for route navigation and delivery apps
- Reliable transportation to our Washington depot
- Willingness to work flexible hours including weekends
