Responsibilities
- Safely operate company vehicles to deliver packages and goods to residential and commercial addresses
- Maintain accurate delivery records and obtain customer signatures for proof of delivery
- Perform pre-trip vehicle inspections and report maintenance needs promptly
- Optimize delivery routes to ensure efficient time management and fuel conservation
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions and address inquiries professionally
- Assist with loading/unloading operations and inventory management at distribution centers
- Adhere strictly to UK traffic regulations and company safety protocols
Qualifications
- Full UK driving license with clean record (minimum 1 year driving experience)
- Ability to pass a mandatory DVLA license check and background verification
- Basic proficiency with smartphone navigation apps and delivery tracking systems
- Strong time management skills with ability to meet strict delivery deadlines
- Excellent customer service orientation and professional communication abilities
- Physical capability to handle packages up to 25kg (55 lbs)
- Flexibility to work early mornings, evenings, and weekends as required
- No prior logistics experience necessary – full training provided
