Responsibilities
- Safely and efficiently deliver packages to residential and commercial addresses
- Maintain accurate delivery records and obtain customer signatures
- Perform pre-trip vehicle inspections and report maintenance needs
- Optimize delivery routes using GPS technology for timely arrivals
- Handle customer inquiries with professionalism and courtesy
- Assist with loading/unloading operations at the distribution centre
- Adhere to all UK traffic laws and company safety protocols
Qualifications
- Full UK driving license (Category B) with clean record
- Minimum 1 year driving experience preferred but not essential
- Strong time management and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
- Basic smartphone proficiency for route navigation
- Physical ability to handle packages up to 25kg
