Responsibilities
- Safely and timely delivery of packages to residential and commercial addresses using company vehicles
- Efficiently plan and navigate routes using GPS technology to ensure optimal delivery schedules
- Verify package accuracy upon pickup and delivery, maintaining proper documentation
- Provide exceptional customer service with friendly, professional interactions at each delivery point
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safe operating conditions
- Communicate delivery status and any issues promptly to dispatch and management
- Maintain clean and organized vehicle interior for professional presentation
Qualifications
- Valid driver's license with clean driving record (minimum 1 year licensed)
- Ability to pass background check and drug screening
- Strong time management skills with attention to detail
- Basic smartphone proficiency for navigation and communication apps
- Ability to lift packages up to 50 lbs safely and repeatedly
- Reliable transportation to and from the starting depot
