Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety compliance.
- Operate commercial trucks in a safe, defensive, and professional manner.
- Load and unload cargo securely, adhering to safety standards.
- Maintain accurate logs and documentation according to FMCSA regulations.
- Provide exceptional customer service to brokers and shippers.
- Perform routine vehicle maintenance checks and minor repairs.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (Class A) or eligibility for company-sponsored training.
- Must be at least 21 years old for interstate driving.
- Clean driving record (MVR) with no major violations in the last 3-5 years.
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical examination.
- Strong work ethic, reliability, and willingness to learn.
- Basic math skills for weight and scale calculations.
