Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial motor vehicles (CMVs) in accordance with FMCSA and company safety regulations.
- Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure the truck is in top condition.
- Load and unload cargo safely, ensuring proper weight distribution and securing loads.
- Maintain accurate records, including electronic logging device (ELD) logs and delivery receipts.
- Adhere to strict delivery schedules and navigate efficiently using GPS and maps.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch, customers, and team members.
- Keep the vehicle clean and presentable at all times.
Qualifications
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical examination and drug screen.
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A or B (Training provided if you have a Class C license).
- Must have a clean driving record and good driving history.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs occasionally.
- Must be able to pass a background check.
