Responsibilities
- Safely operate tractor-trailers to deliver goods on local/regional routes
- Conduct pre-trip inspections and maintain accurate trip documentation
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations and company safety protocols
- Load/unload shipments with proper handling techniques
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and clients
- Manage delivery schedules and timelines efficiently
- Report maintenance issues and perform minor equipment checks
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL license (required)
- Clean driving record with no major violations
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Basic navigation skills and map reading abilities
- Strong work ethic and punctuality
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally
