Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A or B commercial vehicles for regional deliveries
- Perform pre-trip inspections and maintain accurate logbooks
- Load/unload freight with proper handling techniques
- Adhere to DOT regulations and company safety protocols
- Communicate with dispatch regarding route updates and delivery status
- Maintain clean driving record and comply with HOS requirements
- Complete delivery paperwork and maintain cargo documentation
- Participate in ongoing safety and equipment training
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or B Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
- Clean MVR with no major violations in past 3 years
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Basic understanding of DOT regulations and logbook procedures
- Willingness to work flexible schedules including overnight trips
- Strong communication and time management skills
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally
- High school diploma or equivalent required
